In our predominantly "Yang" lives, filled with busyness and external focus, it's easy to overlook the importance of slowing down and nurturing ourselves. Yin Yoga offers a much-needed counterbalance, helping to restore energy, prevent burnout, and cultivate a sense of equilibrium. By integrating both Yin and Yang practices into our routines, we create a more sustainable and harmonious way of living.

What is Yin Yoga?

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced, meditative practice that targets the deeper connective tissues, such as ligaments, joints, and fascia. Poses are held for extended periods, allowing for deep relaxation and the opportunity to explore stillness and mindfulness.

What you can expect…

…nurturing practice of Yin Yoga with Rebecca, guiding you through selected poses designed to bring deep rest and reservation. Soothing frequencies of crystal bowls and music, enhancing relaxation and creating a serene atmosphere. Time for reflection and journaling, allowing insights and growth. Warm cups of tea and delicious snacks, adding a comforting and grounding touch to the immersion experience.

Connect with other women and honour the divine Feminine through sharing and holding space in sacred Circle as women have been doing for thousands of years.

Deepen your relationship with yourself and your fellow sisters while honouring life's natural cycles.

Circles are an invitation for deep enquiry, heart opening and speaking your truth in a supportive environment.

There will also be opportunities for embodied movement, guided meditation and journalling.

Nicki is a qualified Meditation teacher who has been sitting in Circle for many years and has also studied Dance Therapy and Astrology.

We do it for work, projects, events but not often for the biggest and most important event - our life!

Mary-Claude, a qualified dance  movement therapist, Rebecca, a qualified yoga and meditation facilitator, will guide you on a journey through dance and gentle yoga movements, and sound healing of letting go of the old and bringing in the new.

You will also have time to journal, reflect, and share if you wish.

The gorgeous henna tattoo artist Priya is here visiting from Rajasthan, India and is so generously offering to show us this amazing tradition and talent.

Sound Bath

Do you find it hard to stop and relax? Are your thoughts controlling you instead of you being mindful of them?

I invite you to step outside your hustle and bustle and choose a Friday evening with Sound Bath, that will set your weekend up with you feeling more rested and relaxed, so you can be more present for the things that matter most to you.

Finding stillness can be challenging for many. Sound can help create a pathway to stillness in the same way mantra helps to arrive at the still point in meditation. A sound bath can be both passive and participatory. Passive, when you become more relaxed by laying down and slowing your breath, you prepare your body to receive the sound. Through the “being” in the stillness and relaxing, you can become more open to receiving the sound waves - participatory.
